Since its founding in 1114 Stift Klosterneuburg (a monastery) has been cultivating wine, making it Austria’s oldest winery. With over 250 acres of vineyards it is among the country’s largest and most prestigious.
Centuries of experience, mindful maintenance of the vineyards in harmony with nature as well as an openness for new ideas let us create top wines year after year. With the conscious decision to concentrate on autochthonous grape varieties, careful processing of the grapes and prudent fermentation of the wines in the unique climate of Stift Klosterneuburg’s cellars we aim at creating authentic wines with character.
