Barely a winery has deposited such a growth, produces such a variety of wine and get's this many awards. But family Pfaffl knows their secrets for success: family cohesion and fun.
You can feel all of their hearts in their produces wines.
For this Chardonnay a selection of grapes from the vineyard Rossern is made. Later collected, seperated and barrel-fermented. Under constant bâtonnage the wine matures for 18 months in those barrels. A special favorite of ours.
Currently we cultivate about 90 acres. The vineyards spread around Stetten in the „wine quarter“ and in nearby Vienna. Because of the many different vineyards, we are able to produce a broad selection of wines. We always find it fascinating to perceive what the various soils do to the wines.
