The wine

Focus lies on indigenous grape varieties such as Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and St. Laurent united into an ideal accompaniment for regional specialties. Cuvee “G” plays a leading role; blended out of the grapes Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent – a powerful, mature red wine that captures the palate in an expressive dance.

The Winery: Gesellmann, Österreich

First documented in 1767, Winery Gesellmann today cultivates 120 acres of best vineyard sites around Deutschkreutz/Burgenland (right on the Hungarian border). Many generations have continuously handed down and expanded their wine-knowledge, always redefining it from a modern perspective. Focus is on autochthone red wines such as Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent and Zweigelt. The winery also cultivates Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to complete the range.
